Lord Rothermere who owns the Daily Mail pays NO TAX in the UK.
The rest of us fund public services, he CHOSES not to. Yet weβre supposed to believe problems in the NHS are migrantsβ fault? The utter cheek.
Zack Polanski wants to renationalise Water, have a wealth tax and fully fund our NHS
Nigel Farage wants to deport innocent people, whip up racism and transfer more wealth to the super rich.
Yet Centrists are trying to make us think they are the same.
Overshooting 1.5Β°C wasn't 'inevitable.'
We've been pushed by fossil fuel giants & governments that pander to them.
Every delay, every oil field, every broken promise made this crisis worse.
Keir Starmer, will you promise to leave Rosebank undeveloped?

Amazon just announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year.
UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year.
Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M.
This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

Iβve had this picture saved on my photo since a demo I was on in around 2018. As relevant now as it was then! π

It cannot be made clearer.
If you continue to support the Harry Potter franchise in any way, you are directly funding the removal of trans people's human rights in the UK.
The surge in support for the Greens is very welcome. Like it's ok - and actually a fairly reasonable position to take - to care about people, community, & the earth.

Gender Clinic Files: Some people in Scotland will never get a gender clinic appointment on a 224-year waitlist.
This system is failing to support people to transition not because it is broken, but by design. The frustrating thing is that this would not be a difficult problem to solve under a different political paradigm. Trans+ people do not need to be assessed by gender clinics or diagnosed by psychiatrists to tell us what we already know: we are trans. The healthcare we need, especially when it comes to hormones, is already available to cis people through making an appointment with their GP. Gender clinics are unnecessary and exist to segregate healthcare for Trans+ people. Abolishing this system and providing Trans+ healthcare in primary care, at the GP through an informed consent model, would solve many of the issues this data reveals. GPs already prescribe hormones to cis adults. Trans+ adults simply need the same access to this healthcare.
In Glasgow, there is a 224-year waiting list for gender clinic appointments.
224 YEARS.
This is institutionalised discrimination. It's unacceptable, it's ruining people's lives and it needs to change.
We have the solution. Time for politicians to act.
Everyone at work has coughs and colds. Itβs only the start of the academic year, but a lot of us who keep things like exam boards churning away over the summer are knackered already.
