For context, it might help to know that I'm 60yo. This is what it looks like when 40yos try to act old.

Also, I would never spend that much time on it knowing that the people who control core services like identity and relays could (and would want to) hobble it at any moment. Trust is earned in drops and lost in buckets, and they've been quite a bucket brigade lately. Not doing their jobs for them.

I keep thinking about creating a labeler or feed based on the idea of favoring people who do *positive engagement*. I have some ideas about how to distinguish that from negative engagement, but I also know it's a mirage. I've seen plenty of other systems that got gamed sooner or later.

They might not have voted for *that*, but they voted for *that man* despite clear warning signs. Project 2025 is 920 pages long, it was *right there*, and he (or more likely Miller+Vought) has been following it pretty closely. I guess they don't like to read anything without pictures on every page.

The GOP only cares about states' rights as a way to have two chances to take away *your* rights. If they fail at the federal level they can send it to the states, or vice versa. People who actually love freedom have to win twice. They, who hate freedom, only have to win once. It's a rigged system.
