I’ve known some entrepreneurial conservative types, the kind who say they despise people receiving government benefits.

They’re all cool with getting government money/incentives/tax breaks. Their attitude is the government shouldn’t be offering, but sure they’ll take it.

I've written about the overarching post story, causes, underlying pattern. But the failure of Lewis or Bezos to even show up, literally or figuratively, on a day of devastating cuts epitomizes the profound lack of character and accountability that is so common place today within the American elite.

It's so funny how many people have had their brains pickled by X and Fox News and can't believe that SF remains one of the most amazing cities in the world.

One more comment on the Post debacle: this hurts journalism broadly. Good journalists will go do something else. The rest will be fighting for fewer jobs and everyone will earn less. Fewer people will take up the career. The damage done is to the ecosystem, as well as the paper.

I know the Warriors don’t have amazing young talent, but they do know how to play. Even if they don’t work, they’re cheap and you can tank with them.

Plus I’d think an unprotected Warriors first or two in five years would be pretty juicy post-Steph and post-Giannis.
