There are actual medical rooms aboard carriers with corpsman and doctors. The hospital ships are usually sent to regions of natural disasters to aid in humanitarian relief.

Thank you to Greenland for providing emergency medical care to a US sailor on board the submarine, since we did not have adequate resources in the area to treat him. I’m sorry that our president felt the need to cover up our shortcomings with a deranged ghost hospital ship post.

"Always, always, always concentration camps are an end run around the existing legal system. These people that are getting rounded up because whoever’s in power wants to do something that they can’t do using the letter of the law..."

The thing I found most interesting is that both parties are lousy at effecting policy for actual people. Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans got good marks about which party has better policies on immigration, the economy, jobs, the environment, women's issues, etc. This is important.

Americans say Epstein files lowered their trust in U.S. political and business leaders Majority also feel Epstein files show that powerful people in the U.S. are rarely held accountable for their actions

We need to hold the Epstein class accountable in America. This is a defining issue to restore trust in our democracy.

Chakrabarti: We’ve basically created a federal jobs program to terrorize people through ICE. What if we used that instead to actually develop things β€” to build things people want?

It’s the same with foreign policy. We’re spending all this money dropping bombs in other countriesβ€”no one wants that.

The most disturbing part is knowing ICE left a little girl alone and didn’t care.

Annabella was six years old when her dad was detained by ICE while he was picking up their food order. She stayed inside, waiting.

He never returned to her that day.

The Trump administration is restructuring federal health agencies to implement a new policy agenda. Central to this agenda is the Make America Healthy Again movement, which prioritizes individual solutions to broader public health problems, disregards science and scientific institutions, and aligns closely with the β€œwellness” industry. While it is normal for each administration to establish its own public health priorities, previous administrations did not dismantle existing institutions to do so. In contrast, this administration is consolidating power and actively politicizing the federal health bureaucracy, undermining scientific expertise and agency independence in the process. These changes are likely to have lasting impacts on both federal health agencies and public health that will extend well beyond the current administration.

I am running for Congress because we urgently need leaders who will stand up for our rights. We need leaders who understand that treating human beings like human beings is a moral obligation, not a political question. We need leaders who will work hard to help humanity, not serve the elite.

I am a first-generation college graduate, the mom of a young daughter, a proud union member, and a public defender. I have personally experienced many of the challenges that working class people face, and I understand the urgency they demand.
