Restore Britain? I didn’t realise we had been doing backups, bet they are onto tape and I reckon it would take about 100 years to restore to 1958, according to the look of those shoppes!

Can’t say I’ve ever seen a chippie displaying battered fish and chips in a window before either!

Give up, they have β€œRestore Britain” to jump to next surely, it’s like a game of Right Wing Volleyball - Side out, rotate!

Hmm, the Rotate Party, someone copyright, and quickly!

Correct, you never see a picture of him where the ciggie is nearly down to the filter and only 1/3 of a pint left - like what normal people do!

Very sad, I come from similarly deprived Blackpool, many issues were caused by slum landlords advertising β€œWhy not come collect your benefits in sun and fun filled Blackpool/Morecambe et-al”. Similarly seems to be great support for Reform, appears turkeys always seem to want to vote for Christmas!

It’s the hope that kills you, I’m still waiting for the personal hovercraft they promised us in 1969!

I got a Shadow Cabinet
Must be a cloudy day
When it’s Boris outside
We get rid of Theresa May

I guess you’d say
What would make me vote this way

Nigel, Nigel, Nigel
All talkin’ all day β€˜bout Nigel

Just typical of anything trying to happen north west of Manchester, lofty schemes valued at Multi-Millions to regenerate long ignored areas reach planning stage/approval find the legs chopped from under them and a big fat zilch happens. Be lucky if two plant pots appear never mind 2 domes

Imagine the amount of coding required to add, subtract, divide, percent increases/decreases etc. on Imperial Units. I’m sure the COBOL programmers of old did it, but being a post decimalisation COBOL programmer, once over, was glad for decimal system, else I’d still be coding it now, take that AI πŸ₯Š

As if any of those discounts will be passed on to punters! I’m old enough to remember Chancellors not putting up tax on pipe tobacco and cutting a penny off a pint to great cheers in past budgets, I don’t ever remember the cost of a pint coming down!

Which the BBC managed to gloss over quite quickly in the article and was then able to worry the bone on other issues, but hey, no agenda to be chased here is there!

Is that still for Underwear from Damart, those people that made Garden Kneelers and the Derry Boots manufacturer? Last time I saw a copy of the Daily Mail was 1975 and that was just to read the Fred Basset cartoon (I still feel sullied!).

I was amazed to see three cows taking a shortcut to another field down the old Lancaster Canal at Crooklands near Kendal last year, got me wondering which one had tested the water to check it wasn’t too deep. Great adventurers are cows!

What about 8 Track Cassette Players in cars where more money was spent on technology to prevent them being nicked from cars than actually went into developing the players themselves!

So nobody at Reform bothered to look at the printed material post production just to make sure that there was nothing amiss about it just in case, you know, someone somewhere might have dropped a bollock. I’m a big fan of β€œAh, it’ll be reet” tbh.
