Manitoba has approved $9.7M in electric vehicle rebates since provincial program launched | CBC News
Manitoba has already paid out almost $10 million in rebates for people buying or leasing electric vehicles since the province started taking applications for the incentive in July 2024.
🍁🔌💰 Manitoba has helped residents purchase more than 2,500 eligible EVs since rolling out its rebate program in July.
"We're really happy... The sooner that (Manitobans) make the switch, the sooner that we're going to see (emissions) reductions," says environment minister Mike Moyes.

For all the hand wringing about EVs in 2024, Hyundai Canada is doing just fine. More than fine actually. Early estimates from the company put ZEVs at 33% of national sales; EVs at around 18%, a 40% YoY increase. @theglobeandmail.com #EVs
