Absolutely. I quit Substack a year and a half ago… I happened to check out its app by accident in April (it was still installed on an old phone) and I was HORRIFIED by the racism, homophobia and transphobia in the comment section of blogs/notes. Zero moderation. I reported them & they’re still up

You could move over to Ghost or Beehiiv or some other platform and still keep your Substack account to publish links to your pieces on Substack Notes for example, if that was important to you. IMHO publishing on Substack and giving them 10% of your earnings is an implicit endorsement, sigh
