I sometimes look at the b&w pages and I'm always shocked by the difference in mood! The inker and colorist are fighting to represent their take on the story, and what you end up with is a homunculus without clear direction! You can always feel when the art is created to be colored or not

The only critique I have is that the writing should not have been on the ground since it includes the name of god, other than that very nice usage of the art

It was pretty interesting choice to include the writings since it wasn't in the manga, it adds to the mixed culture of the city, I remember stopping the movie the first time I watched it to see how accurate it was, and it's 90% there and better than a lot of other attempts!

Big fan of your work! I have a question regarding the arabic in tekkonkinkreet, what was the inspiration behind it? What was the reference? It is pretty well done for a non arabic movie which usually flip and mess the writing
