Picked up the Tomb Raider table(s) for Pinball FX VR earlier, I am pretty sure that PFXVR is my game of the year by a wide margin, it's so good having a whole pin hall in my house as they are so rare here in the UK.
Steep prices but worth it.

Astounding, everyone should be made to play this.

You get none of this from watching a video, you need to to play it (for some time) to appreciate it.
It's a proper onion of a game, layer after layer of gameplay and no one watching a YouTube review or video is going to "get it"

I cant believe how worried I was about this, I, Robot was a pretty sacred game to me, but this has absolutely blown me out the water, the secrets, the strategies and how the ESSENCE of the original has been preserved and improved.

Tonight I went back to obscure.
English fan patch translation of Remote Control Dandy on Ps1.
Kid gets giant mech, you need to guide him around in FPS keeping sight of your giant mech to remotely battle other mechs, great concept, barmy game.
I just adore the PS1 era, such idea experimentation.

Had an AMZING afternoon on Sunday making levels and play testing them with young family members on Mario Maker 2 (switch)
Truly joyous, the ideas flowing out of them and the hilarity of trying and failing to beat the levels we made, absolute Nintendo magic, truly special

Not doing great at keeping up with this.
Anyway:
Marvel Rivals, season 2 yay! Even better if I can get to play Emma Frost for more than 1 in 10 games...
South of Midnight: yay, love this game but not had much time to get further than chapter 3

Played the first few hours tonight, easily GOTY so far.
Noone said how relentless it is, we were knackered!
Play with an experienced gamer, it's reallybquite tough in places.
Anyway 10/10;so far

Tables are expensive, though. I bought Star Trek, but it was 💯 worth the 8 quid.
It also showed me, in the mixed reality mode, how impractical an actual full-size table would be in my house.
It's absolutely awesome. I can't wait to play more tonight

‪I tried pinball FX on the meta quest last night, and it was absolutely amazing. It *feels* like real pinball tables, way better than anything else I've tried on my virtual pinball machine or using UEVR.

And today's update killed off those chests I'd saved lol

A surprisingly gameless weekend so far, just played some good old favourite Clash Royale.
I know most gaven up on it years ago, but I'm still here 9 years later, still casually plugging away (mostly 2v2 for funsies)
