I'm sad to say that since leaving Twitter/X my sales for live shows have dropped quite a lot - it turns out that even though it's a dreadful place it was still useful for getting the word out about events. So any shares / RTs of my posts about live shows are hugely appreciated!

My favourite bit of renting a “dog-friendly” holiday let, is when you get there and the welcome pack says “Your dog is only allowed on this 1 metre square of tiled flooring”. Or similar.

My favourite type of political discourse is when Americans describe a rival politician as a dangerous communist for policies that are slightly to the right of the Liberal Democrats.

Watching the Mhairi Black documentary on BBC2. A real shame she’s no longer in politics. Whether you agree or disagree with her she is exactly the type of person who should be representing us.

I do agree. But when I’ve had similar thoughts I’ve kept them to myself for fear of sounding like an elderly curmudgeon (Tbf I should just lean into it). “In my day if you forgot your cool drink you just had to suffer from heatstroke and carry on.”

I do! If you want to play something. Just go to the thread for the date. So e.g “sessions-14th- January” there’s a sub-thread for each game running. Click in any looking for players and put a message asking to play. That’s it.

Also I should point I can’t work Discord either. For example I’ve got no idea how to invite you to the Discord group (but I know someone who can!). Once you are in the group though it’s very simple and just like a Forum.

I’m in a flourishing group that is based in Grounded in Fishponds, 3-6 different games every Tuesday. Session scheduling is in Discord though. More centrally there is a group called Gamers Conclave on Facebook. I don’t know too much about them tho.
