Watched him with interest to see if a return would be anything more than sentimental. His touch and finishing is beyond question but he also outpaced our full back (think it was JG) and out jumped nearly everyone he competed against. Yes for me subject to £… the passion and love would be a bonus.

The commercial revenues will be sufficient to insulate the fans from above tolerable prices. We aren’t there yet. Getting there will invariably have a few incidents where the balance isn’t right. The pace at which we can improve on the pitch is tempered by our income (I know we all know this)!

Agree but there must be ramifications if Burnley have a positive result. Theoretically a PSR breach would “cause” others to lose out and simplistically blame=claim? Could you imagine if the most successful team in the land in recent years was at risk..Surely Mr Masters et al won’t let this happen?!?
