Can you hit repost? Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn't want you to know the name of her opponent but will try every desperate attempt to save her seat.

My name is Shawn Harris. I am a Democrat, husband, father, Retired Brigadier General, farmer, and I'm running against MTG. Can you share and follow me?

I find it fascinating that The Archers trends regularly on here.

I watch Kimmel on YouTube. Sinclair blocking him only proves broadcast TV is a nursing home hobby. Broadcast is a fossil dragging its knuckles through extinction. The meteor hit, Sinclair and Nexstar just refuse to lay down and die.

Can Beatty please give another filmmaker a chance with it. I want The Batman Begins of Dick Tracy and by I want I mean let me pitch my vision for a reboot.

Reminder: before you go full-on defeatist about the rule of law, keep in mind it remains often effective on a micro-level. It’s on the macro- that the FedSoc types have killed it. Hard work and good lawyering can make a difference for regular people β€” though not always, and not all of them.

For real. Adam Carolla was NOBODY, just another improv guy at ACME and Groundlings who *lucked into* a friendship with Jimmy Kimmel b/c he (Kimmel) needed a BOXING TRAINER for a KROQ radio comedy event. He owes his ENTIRE career to Jimmy, and now he can't step up other than to whine?

Beyond cancelling Kimmel's show are about 200 writers and crew members in LA who just lost their full time gig.

Like we all thought

The firing of Kimmel had nothing to do with Charlie Kirk & everything to do with an assault on Free Speech

Great film should have led to a series of films for Redford as Dortmunder.

Where the films don't feel like just a pastiche of visuals and style. The 1940s 1950s visuals yet it's contemporary is my main thing about neo noir before 1998 with The Limey.

Once the visual approach reflected the contemporary setting modern noir fully began.

That seems to be most of early 90s Neo-Noir everyone trying to do Blue Velvet/Twin Peaks/Wild at Heart era Lynch. The deliberate anachronistic style that feels removed from contemporary America. We truly don't get modern noir film until The Limey, Memento, and Mystic River.

Again, wildly on the nose that Tobe Hooper hid a mountain of gore behind a heroic portrait of Davey Crockett (designed to look like Reagan) killing a Mexican soldier.

They should have brought in Clive Owen to play a new version of Scaramanga instead of Waltz as Blofeld. Having Bond go up against his true doppelganger who is equal to him in every facet of life.

Read the book and saw the movie. Aronofsky and Butler need to make this their trilogy.

Great film. Hauser has never been better. Halsey was absolutely amazing. McClarnon has the funniest lines in it. Sweeney for the first time is playing a character not just her persona. Following this film's development for years and it's great to see Tost's vision fully on screen.

Left: Putin and Trump meet in Alaska

Right: "I'm offended that a war criminal (Putin) and a convicted felon (Trump), chose Alaska to meet to end the war in Ukraine without inviting Zelenskyy?"

"It is appalling that we are not as a nation arresting Putin when he should be facing war crime charges"

Friedkin said the sequence that actually terrified people the most was the medical test sequence. That's the sequence when they talk about heart attacks and passing out in the theaters.

I also think people say scary when they mean disturbing. Disturbing stays scares fade.

To paraphrase Sam Peckinpah in regard to Sharon Waxman’s opinion piece, β€œShe’s cracking walnuts with her ass.”

The Hunting Wives is satire, and anyone who sees it as an endorsement probably thinks gangster films endorse crime.
