Last week, my husband Kareem showed up early on the first day of early voting to vote for me – and got to ask others why they were excited to rank me first on the very first day.

Early voting is officially open, and I hope I can count on you to rank me – and to rank Jazz Hampton and Omar Fateh too!

We had a great time out in community at the Hennepin Ave Open Streets and Powderhorn Porchfest! I'm always so grateful to get the chance to chat with neighbors – yesterday made me so proud to be running for Mayor of this wonderful city.

Open Streets Hennepin was fabulous. Meeting residents, talking to voters about what they want in our next mayor, and telling them all about @dewayneforminneapolis.com. People want to be inspired. They want a moral leader. They want change.
