Ppl have been showing up outside my MAGA rep's office in DFW regularly all year, as well as those of other GOP reps in the metroplex.

2 minutes of searching and I found photos of protests outside events Thune hosted or attended in SD this year. Johnson was protested during a stop in Monroe, LA. Considering they both represent deep red areas, ANY protest is notable.

Thune and Johnson are refusing to have town halls and Johnson told all GOP reps to stop having them to avoid angry voters. Ppl are showing up to protest outside private events they're having in their districts and just outside their offices. Why claim this isn't happening when it's easy to disprove?

You say you're not here to villify him while dismissing his continued work around the world on account of what you presume to know about his reasons for moving etc, nevermind what he is or isn't doing to help fight American fascism from wherever he is. Sure 🤨

Who? Snyder? He's a well-respected scholar of authoritarism and democracy who had been pursued by the University of Toronto for years (along with his wife), and they were finally persuaded last year, for personal and family reasons. He's repeated said he is not running from Trump.

He got and accepted the university position in Canada before the election and has repeatedly said he would have taken it regardless of election outcome because of the opportunities it presented for his family. Stop trying to make it something it isn't.
