Small modification: They do care about "bias". They want it to be theirs. Everywhere and always.

I see a lot of typos that would pass a spell check. E.g., "Keep me apprized." (Which is how I learned "apprize" is a word.)

So they probably fired the proofreaders and went to spell check instead.

What about the editors? Do they not *see* the typos when they read their authors' books?

Second, MAGAs are mad because they don’t just want us to condemn violence, which every Dem did. They want us, EXPECT US, to join in their nonsensical deification of a racist right-wing nut. Criticism of Trump/MAGA denies them their validation & makes them furious, like a child denied ice cream.

Kimmel didn’t criticize Kirk at all; he criticized Trump and MAGA. They are fair game.

 Two things are at work, IMO. First, obviously, ABC was seeking to justify their cowardice. (“It wasn’t money! No, it was insensitive comments.”)

One part of ABC’s sniveling Kimmel statement caught my eye: “We felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive”. Someone should ask ABC execs exactly *which* comments were ill-timed and therefore (supposedly) insensitive.

2. Admin ignores, a federal judge orders compliance, Supremes take five minutes to overrule

3. Supremes somehow don't overrule; R's spend a day repealing the law.

Hope you're right. Difference is Fox et al said all thru Biden's term that the economy sucked and the MSM didn't contradict. Now Fox et al will say it's great and the MSM won't contradict. When there is unavoidable hard data showing a bad economy, Fox et al will blame Biden and MSM won't contradict.

Best-case scenario: Republicans are "merely" short-sighted and arrogant.

Doubt it will help, but I called my R Rep and urged him to vote against the budget bill. Which probably means I’ll now get texts from him telling me all the great MAGA things he’s proudly doing on my behalf. Closing hospitals! Harrassing gay, trans, and brown people! Cutting the Sacklers' taxes!
