Alright, algae grow lights now working and user settable. System is undergoing an overnight blank run (with caps on) and then a real world test in a shaker with ecoli. So excited to be at the finish line!

If you work at a thing for 25 years, it inexorably becomes part of your identity. For me that thing was the freedom to ask new and interesting questions in biology. When you lose that thing, you lose part of your identity. Today Massey Uni told the Auckland biology staff they have ~3 months left.
