Of all staff (Including the train driver who lives in our City), the passengers and the emergency services. Without the selfless, brave, quick thinking and actions of these people, this deeply disturbing situation could have been even more horrific. They are heroes.

Investigation update following major incident at Huntingdon - Cambridgeshire Detectives investigating a multiple stabbing on a train in Cambridgeshire can this evening confirm a 32-year-old man who was arrested is now being treated as the only suspect.

As further information becomes publicly available, it is true, as many feared, the attacker lived in our City and boarded from Peterborough Station. I wish to say little more about this individual and instead focus on the stories of the superhuman actions 1/3

Parent delivers 800-strong school crossing petition to Peterborough City Council A concerned parent has delivered an 800-strong petition to Peterborough City Council in a bid to ensure childrens’ safety outside a primary school.

All credit to Katie Berry and everyone who supported and signed the petition. It is naturally a very concerning situation, as risk is being added to an already well-known road of concern.

Thanks @stevewebb1.bsky.social - that’s correct you can buy an annuity without advice. Most intermediaries will get paid a commission for a brokering/admin service for introducing businesses to the annuity provider. Which lowers the annual income (not by much)
