The October Story That Outlined Exactly What the Trump Administration Would Do to the Federal Bureaucracy
Historians have hindsight when they look into the past; journalists have the facts on the ground and context to help them look ahead. That means we can sometimes be surprised by how prescient a storyβ¦
In October, we published secret recordings of Project 2025 architect Russell Vought discussing plans to eviscerate entire agencies and decimate the morale of federal workers if Trump won a second term.
It's hard to imagine a more prescient piece of journalism.

Thanks for checking. Great to hear that ICEYE has something. There are TerraSAR-X images everywhere from their global mapping projects. We might convince NASA to buy TSX (and ICEYE) data in their CSDA but it would be only for researchers in the USA.

Giant Radar Antenna Reflector on NASA-ISRO Satellite in Full βBloomβ
Seventeen days after NISARβs launch from southeastern India, an essential piece of science hardware has unfurled in orbit.
Final deployment of the NASA-ISRO SAR (NISAR) satellite, the 12-meter radar antenna reflector was successfully completed August 15. Congratulations to all people involved in this important milestone of the mission, in USA and India. #NASA #ISRO #SAR #satellite #NISAR www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/giant-r...

I would be extremely surprised if Umbra collected any images of this location before the landslide. Same for Capella and ICEYE. They donβt have coverage in most of the Earth.

First Complete Picture of Nighttime Clouds on Mars - Eos
Data captured by the Emirates Mars Mission reveal that clouds are typically thicker during Martian nighttime than daytime.
Most of what we know about clouds on Mars comes from data collected during the Martian afternoon. New research paints a complete picture of what Martian clouds look like all dayβand nightβlong.

βTransformationalβ Satellite Will Monitor Earthβs Surface Changes - Eos
The mission, jointly operated by the United States and India, will measure minute changes to land, ice, and ecosystems around the globe.
#NISAR will take 90 days to perform commissioning tests & reach its science orbit.
βBut as we progress, weβre going to get little peeks behind the curtains...Itβs going to be transformational.β

You may not feel it, but the ground beneath you may be sinking.
In fact, the surface of Californiaβs Central Valley is nearly 30 vertical feet lower than it was a century ago.
Why is this happening? Because our planet is rapidly drying. THREAD/
