Well to start there is a lot more singing😂

I was lucky enough to see the stage version of this in Manchester two years ago. Very good (even if I don't like normally like musicals) and an amazing set. The film is a bit stuffy but still a classic!

Good stuff, will have to check out the original now!

A man with a huge chip on his shoulder with a tough upbringing, a long and reasonably successful career in films and TV even if he was type cast for some of it. There is a fantastic interview with one of the DW directors about him: he was completely and utterly absorbed by the part. A real eccentric
