In reality, Margot Frank received a summons to go to a labor camp on July 5, 1942. After ignoring this call, they were in Amsterdam illegally.

Totally agree! I also love frozen veggies b/c of the easy prep…my microwave sees a LOT of action!

Another thing I like is pre-cutting salad stuff so I have like a li’l salad bar ready to go in the fridge.

This does require a couple of “good enough” days to get done (never a given), but I actually find cutting veg kinda meditative (when I have spoons) & spreading the work out definitely helps!

I cut up all my veggies on a day I have energy/motivation Then on another day I’ll cook all the veg in a big batch w/ simple seasoning, use some in the frittata, and eat the rest with other stuff, like pasta or tofu. (I’m vegetarian.)

I love these kinds of tips, as I often struggle with food in a variety of ways too. Lately I’ve been on a kick of making easy baked frittatas with veggies so I have a decently well-rounded, nutritious meal I can heat up & eat during the day, which is when I tend to have the most trouble.

New— An American citizen boarding flight from Boston to Lisbon just now told me after showing boarding pass, every passenger stopped on jetway by two ICE agents demanding to take their photo. When passenger asked why, ICE threatened to detain them. If they said no photo, couldn't board/TBD detained.
