The quoted tweet at the top of this thread said "I don't care if he becomes the Dem nominee, he's still not getting my vote." I hope Newsom does not become the Dem nominee. But if he does, I will vote for him because his Republican opponent will be worse. On trans issues and everything else.

I am absolutely not doing that.

Nobody's giggling. Voting against Republicans is deadly serious.

You can fight against Newsom without also saying you won't vote against a Republican who will be worse.
