I rode three of those a few weeks ago. They’re great. Very comfortable and practical for day to day activities

Smart Growth and Construction Jobs: How Urban Density Benefits Union Density - Good Jobs First Smart Growth and Construction Jobs: How Urban Density Benefits Union Density - Good Jobs First

Timely new study with SB 79 sitting on Gov Newsom's desk: investments in transit and dense infill create more union jobs at higher wages than highway expansion and sprawl. goodjobsfirst.org/smart-growth...

β€œThe United Nations has historically resettled more refugees in Houston than any other U.S. city. If we were a country, we’d rank fourth in the world for refugees resettlement. That’s because we’re good at it.”

Our family was just visiting Seattle earlier this month and this trail was the total hook up! We stayed in Ravenna, and biked to Ballard and Fremont on it. Great urban trail!

Seattle is a great city, and I’ve appreciated the walking, biking and transit on this trip. But it’s been a while since I’ve been on mixed traffic streetcar, and I still fail to see the value add. I’m sure there are some places where it makes sense, but I always feel like I should have walked.

Funny, it’s been a goal of mine to read the book and I finally did this summer. Incredible writing.

Look forward to it. I liked it. The main problem I had it with it was that it tried to shoehorn in too many subplots. I would have opted for more of the Austin Butler cult and less of the explosive last 20 minutes. But glad I saw it.

He’s amazing. Did you read his book β€œThere’s Always Next Year”? Nominally about being a sports fan, but much deeper. But also fun to read if you love sports!

FWIW, it also clearly missed the school bus's stop sign which would prevented hitting the dummy.

Everything’s bigger in Texas – except the now-road-legal mini kei trucks The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles is now allowing Texans to register Japanese kei trucks and operate on state roads.

Everything’s bigger in Texas – except kei trucks.

These Japanese mini utility vehicles are now street legal thanks to a new law. They're cute, compact and turning heads: txst.us/dlr4gy

β€œand about half that total would be covered by dedicated revenue from the state’s new fees on rental cars and oil and gas production.” Well played, Colorado.

Even though I haven’t lived in SF for 25 years, this has become my β€œmust see” place that I take everyone to when I visit with family and friends! Especially when combined with auto free GG Park.

He is a great prospect but aren’t we good at #1 and #2? I don’t know the current draft class that well but is there a 3 point shooting forward or big guy to complement Wemby that is Harper’s quality?

It may have been a Strong Towns podcast. He’s a good communicator. Have you heard him talk about land use, transportation and cities? Really great! (And if I learned that from a War on Cars podcast I apologize for my bad memory!)

I was in SF a couple of weeks ago and almost took the longer trip with Caltrain to Millbrae for the airport as opposed to BART because I was excited to get a feel and (lack of) smell for the electrified system. Didn't end up being able to, but next time for sure!
