I would add The Godfather to the list. Again for a class and I can say I just didn't get the hype, nor did I care for the story or the characters in the first place. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have a habit of enjoying movies everyone else hates. Today's fun movie is Battleship. It's pure popcorn fun and I won't call any of my fun movies guilty pleasures because I don't feel guilty about liking them at all. 😁

One thing I love about living in NEPA is pagach. I just wish restaurants made it year-round and not only during Lent. But if you're a Celiac looking for pagach in the area, try Lynn & Louie's in Archbald. Nice thick crust, plenty of gooey cheese, onions and potatoes. Yum. #NEPA #Celiac

I use Spotify even though I know they're not the best (or even good) because it's easy enough for my 73 year old mom to figure out. She needs music for a few exercise classes she teaches and it was a struggle just to get her to do that one on her own and not make me program it all. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I try to send postcards weekly about one of the bills coming up for vote or in committee. I used to do a postcard exchange, so I have a box full of them. Which reminds me that I didn't write them out on Monday because I was out of town. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I was shopping the day after and a depressed-looking woman wearing a Kamala hat was next to me and I just looked at her and said, “We’ll get through this.” If I’d known it would be this bad this quickly, I might not have said anything.

I really need to fix my phone's camera. I crocheted a tribble with faux fur yarn. It's the first time I've used it. It was weird to rely on feel to find the stitches, but it worked better than using a thin thread to stabilize it. And I have a tribble! I think I need more.

Both. If the project is a gift, it gets done right away. If it's for me, it faces three fates: it goes in a pile of doom (actually a tote bag of doom), I actually wash it if I have the patience, or I just shove it in a frame without washing it.

My yarn lives in plastic totes and workbags. My floss lives in those DMC floss binders and workbags. My fabric (stitchy and sewing) lives in totes. I need to get better organized. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've bought a lot of stuff from there, but I never thought about looking for cones. They might have the toggle I wanted. 🤔

I spent $4 on a bag of crochet thread at the Goodwill today. They're sitting out in the freezing cold right now to kill any nasty things that might have come home with them.

Where do you buy your cones? I'm tempted to get them in the basic colors like black and white.

My head hurts and I'm tired. I want to just sleep for the next week or so. I think I need to take a break from social media and news for a while. Wish me luck in keeping myself to about a half hour or so a day, because I know darned well I won't give it up completely. App time limits for the win.
