I've been seething since the Liverpool draw and yesterday hit critical mass. Bloody title chase.

Yeah, I've definitely thought about trying Eze on the left. And at least Merino gives us a goal threat.

He used to make us tick but that's not happening this season. We're so reliant on Rice now but when he's at 6 to 7 out of ten (pretty rare) then we're in trouble. The obvious thing is to get Eze in there but he's hardly setting the world alight when he comes on. Maybe he needs a run.

I know, I had the fear after the Liverpool draw and I'm pretty much at defcon 1 now. I started to think about the problems that need sorting in this team earlier but stopped as I was scaring myself.

But as well we have to find a way to break teams down who sit deep (pretty much every team). Arteta has to look at himself and come up with the solutions. There are a fair few players now who are either not performing or that we're not getting enough from. 15 games to go.

I said it after the game yesterday and my optimistic side (there's not much of that) hopes that a defeat might actually give us a chance to regroup, remember what we're really good at and go again. I do wonder if the fear of losing was causing a lot of the nerves and tension.
