Pelosi & Schumer NOT behaving like the radical Republicans during Reconstruction was inexcusable full stop. Donโ€™t care what our pathetic GOP loving mainstream corporate press would have saidโ€”they should have done it!!

The GOP member of Congress associated w/ the coup attempt should have, per the US Constitutio, been banned from sitting.

Korea & Libya were of course authorized via the UN General assembly & UN Security Council which is rather important (if perhaps insufficient). And Vietnam & Korea of were pre-War Powers Act. Of course the general point here that Congress needs to control war making more I agree with.

Agee! It is ๐Ÿ’ฏ fair to blame the left for Gore &, even more so, Hillary losing the EC, but I genuinely donโ€™t think leftist behavior in 2023 & 2024 was remotely relevant to Harris losing.

Andrew Lloyd Weber

Wow! Never seen this before--I love it!

This is LBJ erasure & I will not stand for it! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜†

But this aside... I take your worry very seriously here.

08.02.2026 16:35 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

so what different. I don't want to say dramatically different, because there is a level of black pilling that we just have to accept.

So be fair 1) a huge part of the inflation was due to global Covid supply chain shocks--it wasn't Biden's big fiscal alone 2) I think if Biden had been super aggressive at messaging about the good of big fiscal e.g. putting his name on the checks like Trump, perhaps things could have turned out

08.02.2026 16:33 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Like his attack on ICE, I loved it... but I never even knew Epstein was Jewish... yeah, that could be used badly... I hope Ossoff cotinues to use it though & perhaps Shapiro & Pritzker use it as well for the same reason.

Other than attacking Newsom... that man MUST NOT be allowed to become the nominee in '28!

08.02.2026 16:28 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

He, Warnock, & Bennett of CO are what non-worthless centrist Dems look llike. I LOVED this!

If--AND ONLY IF--Dems can claim the governorship this year, I think it would be reasonable for one or both them to run.

Though thinking about '28 is something I don't think we should do until after '26.

What happened to him? I used to read & learn from him & even when I disagreed I often felt he made points worthy of being addressed but most of the last 3-4 years Iโ€™ve been WTF man!

07.02.2026 01:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

This is the way. I have no interest in talking about 2028 other than to make sure Newsom is NOT the nomine!

*gasp* and yet here you a brown hair abomination pic of yourself! For shame!

If Erin McClelland had won the treasurer race in PA in 2024 while all other results stay the same, I would seriously consider the idea that Gaza policy cost Harris the election. But she did not win.

06.02.2026 05:09 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Hillary in general election was running on policies significantly to the left of Obama 08 & 12 (just as she was in the 16 primary) whether or not people heard that and understood that is a different question

05.02.2026 16:30 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Nope! Thatโ€™s wrong. She started off her campaign breaking with Obama to the left on issue after issue before sanders was even a threat.

05.02.2026 16:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Heโ€™s right though! At least if we restrict ourselves to domestic policy. On foreign policy in 08, even ignoring Iraq, Obama was more dovish, but on domestic policy 08 was like 16 & 20โ€”the more moderate candidate defeated the more progressive candidate. (Smaller gap between them than in 16 or 20)

05.02.2026 16:18 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Hillary in 2016 was WAY more left than Obama 08 or 12 on basically every domestic issue. Harris 24 though it is fair to say she was, in aggregate, a shift to the right compared to Biden 2020.

05.02.2026 16:13 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I voted for Hillary in 2008 (& then Sanders in โ€˜16 & โ€˜20) for exactly this reason! Obama legitimately campaigned as more of a dove, but he was also clearly the economically
moderate candidate in aggregate!

05.02.2026 16:10 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I want Pritzker to humiliate him publicly in multiple debates. I think worrying about โ€˜28 before โ€˜26 is done is sillyโ€ฆ. save for the fact I think it really worthwhile to kill a Newsom candidacy ASAP

05.02.2026 16:05 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Erin McClellandโ€™s defeat in PA in 2024 should do it as well. Wish she had won/am still happy I donated to her.

05.02.2026 16:02 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Really?!? She would have been such an improvement on Obama on Syria butโ€ฆ. *sigh* true information isnโ€™t always known wellโ€ฆ Or at all.

100% he was decent on arms control in generalโ€“ โ€“ not great, but good โ€“ โ€“ and the Iran nuclear deal was a shining jewel and itโ€™s raging that Trump destroyed it and Biden also did not try to resurrect it.

04.02.2026 21:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

we will get much better policy. It wonโ€™t be nearly as lefty policy as I want probably , but it will be much, much better.

04.02.2026 18:48 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Our institutions are so bad at translating popular will into legislation/need to be fundamentally reformed that itโ€˜s easy to mistake the real hunger for left-liberal & progressive policy for leftism per se. But the radicalism we need most is institutional reform and once that happens
