It’s lost on most people who frothingly object is that if they truly counted how many times a year they drove through one of the gates it is very unlikely to exceed their free allocation. Commuters to the city centre are most affected

And if they need to do it 100 times a year I suspect they might meet one of the exemption criteria 🤷‍♂️

I think it’s because most newish cars have automatic headlights now and they don’t come on in the fog because it’s too bright. I had to turn mine on manually this morning 👍
