Never in my life experienced this before. I love sleep and would usually go to sleep when stressed to escape. My word.

Could LITERALLY not sleep for four days straight because of hypnic jerks and stress but finally started being able to sleep in 1-hour bursts in which I would constantly wake up in a panic. Stress is so evil. I'm finally being able to sleep in 1-hour increments WITHOUT waking up panicking but jfc.

mine are apparently a mix of hypnic jerks and hypnogogic hallucinations (hallucinations when falling asleep) but the hallucinations remind me of a fever dream and scare the shit out of me. i know it's from the insane amount of stress but holy shit it makes me feel like i'm dying

Insane how stress basically broke my brain to the point not even xanax or sedatives can't help this.

Had some incredibly stressful situations that I think broke me the other day. I haven't been able to sleep for three days now due to every time I try I get crazy sensations and head feelings/thoughts that wake me up. Went to ER and was okay but this sleep thing is scaring me.

I love racoons so much. However, I know of all the critters we have they have a higher rate of carrying lepto and rabies which is why I don't leave food out (intentionally) at night. I forgot the carrots and found this chubby baby. This one dislikes carrots anyway apparently hehe. I luff them tho 🥺🦝

I love my nighttime opossum friends. No idea how many there are, some seem chunkier than others, and no we don't feed them, aside from when one stole an apple lol. It's weird because they are supposed to be transient. I think my neighbor has a bunch under their deck. I don't mind! They eat ticks! 🥰
