Forcing people to pay $130 for a passport in order to vote is just a Jim Crow poll tax by another name.

It is blatantly unconstitutional.

Trump Declares Trans Youth "Child Abuse," Pledges "Punishment" The declaration was made in Trump's designation of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

1. In a proclamation issued yesterday, Trump declared allowing transgender youth to transition "child abuse."

He then called for swift punishment of "abuse," with transgender care being his main example.

This is the latest escalation in attacks on trans youth.

Education Dept. warns schools: Eliminate DEI programs or lose funding The department sent a letter to state leaders threatening the loss of funds for K-12 schools that don't follow its interpretation of civil rights laws.

They are holding Title 1 funds that support the lowest income students for ransom. So the kids who need teachers of color the most, will lose funding first if their district hires with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in mind.

Senate sets up vote to restrict trans women from women's sports The House passed similar legislation in January.

ALERT! It just broke that tomorrow, the Senate will attempt a procedural vote on a transgender sports ban.

It will take 7 Democrats breaking rank in order to have enough votes to pass cloture.
