It was a real pleasure to host Daniele Menjivar in my lab as part of CREU program (cancer research experience for undergraduates). It is such a breath of fresh air to be involved in mentoring new generation of scientists, especially in current anti-science environment.

Mono-Ubiquitylation-Dependent Rap2 Activation Regulates Lamellipodia Dynamics During Cell Migration Cell migration is a complex process hallmarked by front-to-back cell polarity that is established by the highly dynamic actin cytoskeleton. Branched actin polymerization creates a lamellipodia at the ...

Check out our new paper on the role of Rap2 in regulating actin dynamics and cell migration. Congrats on nice work Andrew!

I came to US thirty five years ago leaving Soviet Union and looking for a freedom. At a time US was truly a shining city upon the hill. It is so sad to see that all being destroyed. US is starting to look scarily similar to Soviet Union.

What a sad news. Steve was an outstanding scientist and contributed greatly to midbody and centrosome biology. He was also a great colleague and an accomplished mountaineer. I will miss our scientific discussions and great hikes we did in Colorado.
