If I don't have the mini then the cost of buying it will be part of my quote, or if the customer has the pieces then they can ship them to me and I'll paint and return them. Just did that today!

My concern is trying to buffer the ill effects from when our economy craters, or better yet, evolve the system so it transitions into a more-stable configuration instead of crashing. People shouldn't have to die because the megarich made bad decisions.

I know that I don't know much about economics. It's the closest thing to actual magic that exists: convince enough people of a system and it'll work - for a while. But how to build a truly stable system has been debated since literally Biblical times. Capitalism will fall, as have all other systems.

And it also goes for physical assets. How do you fairly divide up a mansion or superyacht? A Bugatti Veyron sells for over a million bucks, but who's left to buy it if everyone is declared to have exactly $450,000 - no more, no less. Not everyone is getting a hypercar and desire breeds strife.

Therein lies the rub: the value of the stock market is mostly illusory. If I was to be made King of America and declared that I'm seizing all the wealth in the markets and redistributing it, those stocks would instantly become worthless. They have no intrinsic value outside of the market.
