Looks like I need to head along to Říp 😉. Vyšehrad has a pretty authentic charm, especially compared to the disney-facation around. Important to respect it.

I didn’t mean it from a societal or historical standpoint, more that it’s not super-central kinda thing.

Just got a new iPhone. I had the first few (as in, the 1st 2G one, 3G, 3Gs) have been on Android since. Gotta say, the onboarding with my Mac and iPad in the Apple ecosystem was INSANELY GOOD. iPhone 16 Pro. Feels much nicer in the hand compared to my Galaxy S23 Ultra.

My mum had a fall on wet floor in a Coles supermarket where a worker was moving frozen goods and ice melted. No caution signs. Broken arm. She went back to follow up the next day. They said "are you the lady in the CCTV who was wearing thongs (flip-flops)". Wow.

dev life. spend 12 hours refactoring an old feature, make it kick ass. old feature implementation was shameful. finally show it off. first comment? I think the email copy needs to change. Yeah, that copy was approved and used over 2000 times last year, but cool.
