I’ve seen a workers union kettling and brawling with pro Palestine protesters. Recreating the brownshirts trying to reclaim german pride that was stolen by immigrants who refuse to feel guilty in The right way.

It’s terrible to be german man. It’s a fucking headwrecker and I feel bad for them. The propaganda is really heavy especially on ethnic germans who grew up here. And the people in power exploit these basketcases.

If you ask germans these questions they just explain that the nazis were really bad as if that explains anything. So the blame for the holocaust comes down on old folk songs, on brown immigrants who support Palestine, and eventually on its own citizens.

I’ve spoken to musicians who say the nazis misused german folk music, and now these perfectly innocent songs are associated with naziism. So germans don’t really have folk music. But isn’t that kind of insane? What does the music have to do with the genocide, warmongering and racism of the 3. Reich?

I couldn’t accept it when my friends who grew up in germany told me Germans are so pro-israel because of holocaust guilt. True feelings of guilt would cause you to oppose genocide. But this video cleared it up a little. It’s not Guilt that drives them, it’s the prestige of being the Most Guiltiest.

this is a great video on how Germans force their manufactured sense of guilt (Guilt-Pride / Schuldstolz) onto everyone within their borders.

It also helps to sketch the larger idea first, then go in and fill in the details. With piano it’s tempting to try and preserve the exact accompaniment pattern but you can easily tighten up all the finnicky bits later.

At first I was quite anxious writing piano music, and that anxiety would creep into the compositions and kinda wreck them. But the more I write the less that is happening. I can hold the original idea for longer.

I love writing down music coz it brings you back to where u were the night u played it first. The unexpected harmonies and weird melodies.

I have a little folder of piano compositions. I just write them and put them away. Last night I opened the folder and actually played them for the first time. There’s a lot of good stuff in there!

I agree with what ur saying about the US. living in Germany makes it stark that Ireland is gonna have to become more right wing and violent if we want to stay in the good graces of these countries. Some of our politicos are cool with that obv. but many just haven’t processed this new world yet!
