And if you think Project 2025 is an unrelated policy paper, well, guess again. Former Trump officials wrote it, and he's already promised guys like Tom Homan a key role. The kind of people you want in charge of things like freedom and human rights (that's sarcasm).

A more likely path might be a nuanced ruling that allows certain federal restrictions or protections for "fetal rights" rather than an outright ban, but I'm speculating with an educated guess here.

Even with a sympathetic Court, the decision to reverse Dobbs would require solid legal arguments that likely involve reinterpreting the Constitution in a way the Court has previously avoided.

The 14th Amendment alone could position abortion as a matter of federal interest in "protecting life." Supreme Court split? Of course.
