•Section 9 forbids suspending The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus
•Section 10 forbids ex post facto laws

5. Additionally, Medcare/Medicaid don't cover a lot of basic preventative medicine (I was actually denied a hernia operation at one point because it was deemed "elective" by the assigned surgeon). So, THAT is how people, especially disabled people, get to "that state" in the US healthcare system.

4. I gave up looking. Because that's what the system is designed to do. Beat you into submission by way of being so incredibly broken. I do still see a psychiatrist and cardiologist (the latter of whom I only connected with by virtue of having the aforementioned massive heart attack).

3) I haven't had a primary care physician for over a decade because my state's registry of doctors who accept Medicare/Medicaid is horribly outdated. Most of the doctors there either aren't taking new clients, no longer accept Medicare/Medicaid, or aren't practicing at all anymore.

2) The longer answer is that the US healthcare system sucks very specifically for disabled individuals (Medicare and Medicaid are not great insurance, despite what the government has conditioned those who aren't receiving it to believe).

I recently posted about that and somebody genuinely said that they didn't understand how you could get to that state within the US healthcare system. The short answer is that the US healthcare system sucks.
