You weren't as naive as you think. After all, the outer shell of those balloons that rise in the atmosphere burst away and their inner spirits (read "breath" or "gas") unite with all other sky spirits everywhere.

I don't know why, but this reminds me of a couple of bunnies sitting nose-to-nose while my grandfather approached at high speed in his jeep. He straddled them and looked in his rearview mirror. Those 2 bunnies were still there nose-to-nose. Bunny love is forever. 🥕
