Absolutely adored my time in Melbourne last year, itโs an incredible city by day and night.
29.12.2025 02:10 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hot take:
The transit in Vancouver has lower frequency, shorter span of service, and frequent trip cancellations.
The bike share system has paltry coverage, dated technology, and absurd pricing
Toronto's sheer frequency, availability, and coverage of its transport systems makes it far superior.
What makes it so bad? I find the trackpad functionality to be completely pointless, but I do find it useful to have a dedicated button to open the camera.

If Reuter's reporting is accurate on this, how likely is it that AA had just been slow updating their aircraft's software? www.reuters.com/business/aer...

Itโs so nice to see Google Maps recommend people try public transit! An excellent detail of this is mentioning that no transfers are needed, which can be a significant mental hurdle for those unfamiliar with transit.

22.07.2025 04:39 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Functionality doesn't have to come directly to the detriment of aesthetics. That said, I do totally agree these both look fairly ugly but also that's completely fine to me. They both serve the role of being forgettable buildings.

Iโm at the TTC board advocating for platform edge doors. Cities around the world already have them. Toronto has a responsibility to prevent tragedies. We also know that trespassing onto the tracks contributes to the delays riders experience and makes the TTC less reliable.
23.06.2025 19:53 โ ๐ 37 ๐ 5 ๐ฌ 4 ๐ 1Sorry, I donโt think I articulated my message well. I was referring to them not bringing any specific issues up besides air filtration. Youโve done a great job over the years on advocating for any number of accessibility issues on GO.
20.06.2025 20:42 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The aspects of taking GO that arenโt accessible by all means should be brought up and discussed (they really werenโt in this thread). But responding generally to โGO is goodโ with an accusations of ableism isnโt productive at all.
