Please reach out to your MLA and the Province during this budget process. Consultations are happening in every school district right now. The #BCBudget left families behind. We can't run schools on starvation budgets.

Schools have been asked to provide mental health support, food security programs, childcare, assessments and therapies, and more without support from the Ministries tasked with those obligations.

It's time to push back and support School Boards in BC.

adequate funding, a stable funding model, support for rapidly growing cities, and, above all, a place for every child in BC to go to school.

Too many vulnerable kids are left out when we don't fund teachers, support workers, and programs. 2/

Imagine what schools in BC would look like without PAC's and parents, sometimes frantically fundraising, for basics. BASICS!! The latest request in our district? Photocopy paper.
