when i see posts on eugenics from prominent folks who never talk masking, never show themselves masked, im forced to assume their understanding of eugenics ends at theory, even if their words insist they too see it unfolding before them.

I agree wholeheartedly! I’ve been working in a public-facing role while wearing a mask for the past 5 years and have learned that people respond totally differently depending on how I frame my reasons for masking. I hate it, but I’ll do whatever it takes to get my accommodations

Smdh at health practitioners being sooooo willing to N95 mask/schedule me as their first appointment of the day if I use vague enough language to lead them to believe the immunocompromised person I’m protecting at home has cancer vs. if I tell them outright my person has Long COVID.
