I think we are always photographing the wind, for time does not wait and a snapshot is but a brief encounter. We try to catch the emotions we feel at a split second in time then it is gone and only remains in our memory.

Bit hard to take an image of an ancient narrow village street with central drainage channels without it running towards the camera (or away from it) so guess it is a feature of many of the villages here.

In 1967 Klaus and Jean Erhardt discovered #Bardou while hiking in the Caroux purchased the village and began restoring it using traditional methods as a village for musicians I am honoured to be invited to concerts there
