I am extremely sorry to say that my mam, Woolhatwoman/Jean, passed away on the 25th of January. She had come to terms and was quiet, peaceful and comfortable, surrounded by her family and cared for by excellent NHS staff (who had all become immediately fond of her).
Woolhatdaughter/Kathryn.
Oh, that's a pity. I do hope the pharmacist can help, sinusitis is horrible.

Higher taxes, in some ways. But a more egalitarian society and a sense of βdugnadβ where everyone mucks in and pulls together.
Could we do this in Scotland?

Fresh raw garlic minced or finely chopped & sprinkled into a nice fresh tomato (e.g.) sandwich, also helps to clear the Tubes, plus it's anti-microbial, anti-fungal AND anti-vampyre?

- New bureaucracy
- Weaker UK exports
- Labour shortages in key sectors
- Less cash for public services
- Huge divorce bill
- 15% long term hit to UK trade
This is the price of populism.
Government should seize the moment, while Musk and Farage are at odds, to close the loophole on foreign donations to UK parties.
The danger was always that introducing legislation would trigger a donation. So do it now, before they kiss and make up.
Just come through some of that myself! I imagine you've tried breathing steam, taking decongestant, swearing in a kind and gentle way? Have you tried a warm hot water bottle on the sore side of the head? That helped me. Wrap in a smooth* cloth & lay your head upon it. (* = no crinkles on the face)

Happy #Caturday lovely phone family πββ¬ How is everyone doing?
This is something I'm going to try and do much more of in 2025. Whether that's a bit of extra volunteering at my happy place or even a change of job, we shall see...
Have a fabulous day and of course always #HaveCourageAndBeKind π₯°

As others including Carole Caddwaladr have flagged, X/Elon Musk has registered a new UK company
Having a UK company (which is trading) is essential to being able to donate to a UK party
Could be other reasons, but the timing is a significant red flag...

and from connecting to βpeopleβ many years before they become βpatientsβ.
The thing that we are not talking about is that so much of this care and volunteering for charities was traditionally provided by women, often not working, retired or working part time. Now we are expecting women to work full time until they are nearly 70 where will that come from?
