Oh nice, I just arranged to be in London for a few days in December. Glad they'll have a show available to go to!

Super psyched to publish this interview!

Showrunner of my favorite show! Possibly one of his only English language interviews ever? Wouter and team are some of my favorite living game designers

Pancake Day 4K - Maid Marian & Her Merry Men
YouTube video by Luke Toddfrey Pancake Day 4K - Maid Marian & Her Merry Men

I'm sure you're all aware it's Pancake Day and already singing the traditional P-P-P-Pancake Day anthem like I am, much to the joy of everyone around me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=v48H...

Laura’s been working on getting this back up for a year, proud of her for getting the right people together and making it happen!

The second mystery is harder (no names list, first/last are separate), and seems to have more rabbitholes to dig through. I think it'll rely more on allusion, and the plot already seems more interesting than the first, though it is a continuation of the original story.

I finished the first mystery, and it was pretty satisfying. The best part for me was the few leaps you had to make that weren't spelled out, just vaguely hinted at. The intuition number really is useful later, when you are like "how is this one picture still 8?" but the explanation is rough.

A cartoon postcard reading "Greetings from Little Sodaburg". It shows people taking their photos with "face in hole"-style figures. One person's face is in a pterodactyl's mouth, and the other appears on a fish-like figure with large eyebrows.

@jeyb.bsky.social, @katatat.bsky.social and I ran the last-ever games of The Traveler's Guide to Little Sodaburg this week. We created the game in August 2021 during lockdown and closed it down this month due to tech deprecation. It's bittersweet, but I'm happy and proud of the thing we made

I love the idea of Really Bad Chess but I’ve given up playing it due to lack of difficulty settings or accommodations. I don’t care about leaderboards, I just want unlimited undo and not to be punished for starting over with the ever increasing move count!

Right there with you. Not being able to eat gluten makes me feel more excluded from normal daily societal things than being vegan ever did. Every interaction containing food becomes a minefield.

A friend back in London used to tell tales of the Alien experience, with the standout memory of someone in a lift being yanked out through the ceiling by a xenomorph.
