One thing I need to implement in the tournament is an “untangle round”

In all my years of showing the Octopad I’ve never seen so many wells formed in the middle of the field (vs on the right or left). NY style multiplayer Tetris?

We’re in the cabana near the bar—gonna start with some chill single player games before breaking out Player 2!

Ok, we’re getting down to business now. A team is trying to beat the OCTOPAD all time high score of 93 lines. From 2018-2025, no team has done better. Music set to “off.”

There’s also been a bunch of silent playthroughs—teams practicing mind melding—and a team that has fired their DOWN player

People have also started figuring out SELECT (P1 hides/unhides both next shapes, P2 hides/unhides just their own)

Some strategies evolving that I didn’t expect like building the well in the center!

And we’re off! After a few rounds of Urban Champion we’ve settled into Tetris

We changed the table cloth from green to pink and I think it was a good decision 🌸
