I don't collect the Dodgers specifically, but I love that this set exists.

I wish something like it existed for the Pirates.

(I also think that there should be a Target Dodgers update series every 10-15 years.)

That's a stupid policy. People learn how to write by reading good writing, and they learn how to write complex sentences by reading complex sentences. Stop dumbing down writing for the masses.

I've met members of the Sundays, Bauhaus (David J twice), the Creatures, Velocity Girl, Alison Moyet, Sharon Van Etten, Tanya Donelly, Kristin Hersh, Suzanne Vega, and Johnny Marr. All of them were very nice.

Those 1996 playing cards don't show up very often; however, two batches turned up for sale recently, so I was able to get all my Grays and Crawfords.

I think the authors got it right—it sounds like they're trying to screw people out of a tax credit by making it much harder to register for Social Security. It probably also makes it easier to pretend that the children are "illegal" or that they should be denied other benefits.

Well, I'd argue that one of the parties was actually doing a decent job, though they weren't doing a decent job of promoting all the decent things they were doing. The other party is just criminals. My issue with the "third party" concept is best illustrated by the 1970 Oscars. (1/)

That won't fix anything. There are countless additional parties out there already, and they've done zero good. If Americans aren't smart enough to vote against fascism, what makes you think they're going to understand the nuance of the third party?

I think the '68s are actually supposed to be burlap, but folks also used that on their walls, so not so different. The house I grew up in had burlap and paneling in the family room. Mom finally had the burlap removed about five years ago after water damage.

I think they should've gone in together.

I might have a Pirate double or two—I'll have to check. Does he have plans to build 1987 Leaf in the near future? I have many of those.
