Private Insurers Must Now Cover Dyslexia Testing in New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed into law a first-in-the-nation bill requiring insurance companies to cover costs associated with dyslexia diagnoses.

Our bill with Assemblymember Carroll to require insurers to cover the costs of neuropsychological exams to diagnose dyslexia has been signed by Governor Hochul.

This first-in-the-nation law will help more New Yorkers access the resources they need to succeed.
