American elections must be free, fair, and secure. The Brennan Center research shows that voting in person, early voting, and mail voting are accurate and secure. It’s paramount to ensure that every eligible citizen has the freedom to vote. 4/

Just in case you hear otherwise, here's a reminder that vote-by-mail is a safe, secure and accessible way that millions of Americans participate in our democracy. Any efforts to eliminate this voting method would silence Americans by restricting access to the ballot.
