None of those people are serious leftists, but are rather cathartically posting through their own personal trauma.

Sure, but things have to get much, much worse before the mandate you’re talking about will exist. The amount of suffering you’re accounting for is probably unimaginable by anyone in the US at the moment, if you compare to the resiliency of the GOP after COVID and the GFC.

He's endorsed an anti-congestion pricing candidate, wants free buses which have a long track record of failing (see Kansas City), is lukewarm on building housing with the city of yes plan. Mamdani would make a lot of problems worse and none of that has anything to do with being Muslim.
