I know/assume Phish Inc. is hoping to jump into that trendy market the Grateful Dead have found themselves in following the Dead & Co era, but it just isn't going to happen. The Phish iconography simply can't compare to the stealie, dancing bears, roses, etc... IMO.

I simply wasn't prepared for the cringe era of being a Phish fan.

I’m listening to part 2 of @treyanastasio.bsky.social’s interview with @corywong.bsky.social on his Wong Notes podcast, and he revealed that “About to Run” was essentially never in consideration for becoming a song or being released. Which is wild! It’s arguably the best Trey song of the era.

Fun fact: the last time Eggy played one of the Southeast’s best venues, Saturn in Birmingham, Goose hijacked their date last minute to make-up a cancelled date in North Carolina following the hurricane. They played across the street at Avondale. Eggy shifted to an after party.

I'm fairly certain they are overleveraged in AI and can't actually provide the cost savings they sold our clients. And now every fucking time we get new creative it is a DISASTER.

This is so annoying and stupid. I can't with these people. The whole industry is based around 7 second offers. There is literal legislation about how long these things must be on screen for consumer protection. The file they sent me has "_8_7_" in the title. They know it's supposed to be 8/7. IDIOTS

For context, I'm a *sort of* commercial producer. I work for a company that adds the like "0.9% APR for 36 months" type gibberish to certain auto brand commercials, large brands.

Anyway 15 second commercials are cut up 8/7 with 7 seconds for the offer. These fucking troglodytes sent us a 9/6.

We switched vendors (the company that produces are commercials) this year and the new company is THE FUCKING WORST!!!!! I hate this dip shit fuckheads so much.
