A fantastic day to #bike! I took the B&O west from the Tilson Trailhead to the trail’s end then continued west to McCloud Nature Park, then north over a “closed” iron truss bridge, then on to North Salem, and finally back to the B&O. 34 miles.

#2 is tough.

Attended my first Indianapolis Bike Party last night. It was a perfect mix of community, kindness and anarchy. It was nice surprise to run into G.R. for a second time.

This turns my stomach... "Purdue’s grant application conflicted with federal civil rights law and the department’s policy of “prioritizing merit, fairness, and excellence in education.”

In addition, INDOT likes to post this under Indy’s viaducts. “You have no right to be here”.

This intersection is the junction between two bike/ped trails I assume the driver provided the speed estimate for the police report, which is likely to be an under-estimate. Anyway, the speed limit in this area appears to be 25mph, not 30-35mph. Trails, hospitals, apartments, schools - slow down!

There was that tragic 10/7/23 pedestrian death that occurred at this cloverleaf - so sidewalks here are a great improvement (See photo & ALT).

Do you know if the ramp design was modified to slow traffic and improve pedestrian safety for those crossing the ramps using those new sidewalks?

Ask Wishner to share instead the RATIO of num_applicants / num_open_job_postings during those two time periods. The number of applicants will, of course, increase if there are more openings. And if the mayor is a monster then of course more people quit so more openings.

As a cyclist, I've grown to appreciate drivers that smoke. Smokers tend to keep their car windows open which allows a cyclist to better determine what they're doing.
