I have learned that a functioning opposable thumb is HUGELY underrated.

Based on everyone’s posts (and I mean *everyone*) I have a shockingly good idea of the vibe of the game but none of the details or the score and it’s delightful.

I don’t have a solution, but after we lost Dad one of my single adult siblings spent Christmas at our place so we could cry together and make new traditions. And we still group text about the seasonal reminders of him.

I’ve found that grief is seasonal. Every spring when I tune up the kids bikes I think of my Dad. It’s a little less painful every year.

And as Linda McQuaig wrote, it was critical to convince Canadians that free trade was our idea, because if it were an American idea, Canadians would have opposed it even harder.
