Fantastic business for everyone! I get concerns about the WC but feels like this is the right move for his young career

Orlando City getting a potential fee worth north of $7m + sell-on clause is big. Orlando offered U-22 initiative contract extensions... but Alex Freeman was ready for Europe.

I'm told Freeman is happy his boyhood club gets a fee as well and not a free transfer.

Good for all.

If only I could check Fbref.....

Thanks for this πŸ˜… just started getting into trying to do MLS analysis and thought I was gonna get screwed right out of the gate! Love the visuals you guys provide!

FBRef was not only a brilliant resource generally, it made so much WoSo data available that couldn’t be found elsewhere. Absolutely gutting for fans, data nerds, and those of us who feel these things shouldn’t merely be the preserve of people with lots of money

What about Corcoran? He played a couple different positions in the playoffs do you see him making the XI?

Messi as a "false 9" was mostly dropping into the right half spaces or wing anyway in the playoffs so may not be as big of a shift as we think

Senegal are just so stacked compared to Egypt, never seemed like it was going to be Egypt getting through unless Salah managed an all-timer

Interesting article! Hadn't seen someone put a signing into money added before.

Very hard to analyze keepers because of all the context that surrounds actions they're taking. Can it be assumed that St. Clair's G+ contributions will translate to a vastly different context in Miami?

14.01.2026 15:13 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Do you think there's any chance St. Clair doesn't work out? Going from completely different systems.

We've seen examples of world class keepers looking like garbage when the system changes, kinda odd to me that nobody seems to be considering it

Why Dayne St. Clair Might NOT Be a Great Signing Inter Miami signed the Goalkeeper of the Year, but does he fit their team?

Why St. Clair Might NOT Be a Success at Miami

Dayne St. Clair won Goalkeeper of the Year before this big move to Inter Miami, but can he do it in a completely different environment?

β€˜Top scorer in MLS, without a doubt’ - Wessam Abou Ali showed flashes before injury, now he’s ready to dominate | Goal.com US The Danish-born Palestinian international made a real impact before suffering a devastating ankle injury last October. Fit and firing again - he's out to prove that his strong run was no fluke.

β€œWell, I had 3 in 3 and then I broke my ankle”

Wessam Abou Ali was supposed to tear up MLS with Columbus Crew, but injury got in the way.

Yet it’s a new season, with a new manager, and maybe a new Wes.

On recovery, late night gaming sessions, and golden boot talk

Huge bummer for Minnesota, seems like this season will be a wash unless they can find an equally talented coach.

08.01.2026 16:54 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Is there a reason it took so long for them to add this to begin with? Just to try to maintain stability as the league developed?

A lot of ways for BJ Callaghan to set this up, but on paper this should be one of the best attacks in MLS.

Think it's important to note Espinoza doesn't really score himself so while he'll provide a lot of assists, Nashville still probably need to add someone who can contribute 7-10 goals

Adding the best chance creator in the league on top of one of the most productive duos in the league is incredible work.

Still wondering how San Jose let him go

If they get somebody who can chip in with a few goals when Surridge is off form it's a locked in home playoff spot

Nashville SC signs top MLS free agent Cristian Espinoza to elevate attack: Sources Espinoza will link up with two of the most productive attacking talents in MLS to boost Nashville's chances in 2026

πŸ’£πŸ‡¦πŸ‡· BREAKING: Nashville SC has signed free agent winger Cristian Espinoza, sources tell @theathleticfc.bsky.social.

Espinoza was the marquee free agent this winter. He will be a DP in Nashville.

The 30-year-old is San Jose's all-time assists leader. www.nytimes.com/athletic/694...

INSANE signing, Nashville has 3 amazing DPs. All they need is a little depth

07.01.2026 14:52 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Well to be fair pretty much the entire roster is dead weight. But think Morgan and Haak needed to go, taking up a DP spot and a ton of money for not much upside and Nealis is an average player at best. Agree that there's way more to do
